The church I am working for at the moment, Derwent Free Church in Derby, has a connection with the Grace Evangelical Church in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Checking in after a month off...

It's 5th Jan already. (Happy New Year to all!)

Survived Christmas (easily the worst period of the year for me - the stresses and strains make impossible for me to remember "what it's really all about").

Mac iBook packed in again. Ongoing logic board problem for which there is an Apple UK recall. Mine has gone back three times now but it is still not well. Looking for compensation. Relying on old creaky iMac for now.

Back to work. (Exams in Feb, the most pressing)
